We started with a camera, and kept going.
SpotDetail is a creative technology, media and production studio in Accra.
SpotDetail began as a film company. Every discipline we added afterwards was added because a film needed it — a designer for the titles, a photographer for the stills, a developer for somewhere to put the finished thing, a studio so we stopped renting one.
That order matters. It means we are not an agency that also shoots; we are a production company that learned to build. The people who write an idea are still in the room when it ships, and nothing gets handed across a wall to a team who were not there for the conversation.
We work with businesses, institutions and filmmakers across Ghana and beyond. Our own films are free to watch, funded by people who choose to support them.
